He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin King and Mattie Carter King; and his brother Danny King. He is survived by: his wife Susan King of Gillett; his sons, Brian Reed (Sheri) of Benton and Lyn King (Amy) of Gillett; his sister Dottie Collins of Dumas; and his grandchildren, Lauren Reed Anderson (Avery), Blake Reed, Logan Reed and Erin King.
