Marjorie Merle Ruffin Hackney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjorie Merle Ruffin Hackney (Gillett, Arkansas), who passed away on July 3, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Guy and Hettie Alice Adams Ruffin; her husband W. P. Hackney (Pat); her siblings, Ralph Ruffin, Sr. of DeWitt, Verne Ruffin of Ventura, CA, Hester Cordell of Heth and Estelle Vaughn of DeWitt; and her sons, James Robert (Jimmy) of Gillett, Joe Dale of Hot Springs and Jay Randall of Gillett.
She is survived by: her daughter Paula Cossey (Bill) of Jonesboro; her sister Lorraine Eason of DeWitt; and her sister-in-law Hazel Ruffin of DeWitt. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
