He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Marvin Cotter and Nancy Bessie Cotter (Foster); his wife Reba Jean Cotter; and his son Roy Gilbert Cotter. He is survived by: his children, Sharon L. Rigot (Tom) of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Gary Lin Cotter (Treva) of Viola and Verlin Cotter of Gamaliel, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Misty Baker (Chris), Michael Rigot (Sherri), Tom Rigot, Jr. (Angi), Clay Cotter (Jeni) and Cayla Phillips (Bryce); and his siblings, Chloe Cele McGee of Gepp, Arkansas, Darrell Cotter of Gepp and Kermit Cotter (Virgie) of Viola, Arkansas.
