He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Clifton and Martha Jane Hendrix; his son Daniel Aaron Hendrix; and his siblings, Ray Hendrix, Homer Lee Hendrix, Norma Anderson, Frances Mitchell and Shirley Britton.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Hendrix; his son Matt Hendrix (Wendy); his grandchildren, Erin Hardin and Cody Clifton; and his great grandchildren, Cole Wade Clifton, Korbyn Rose Clifton and Sierra Jade Jones.
