Jim Gamble wrote a sympathy message

“To the family of Larry E. Cooper, I never met Larry face to face, but I talked to him almost every day on the radio. He was a great control operator, a good man, and always my friend. I know words cannot take away the pain of loss, but please know that the prayers of many have been sent in his behalf and for you, his family. We will certainly miss him here and look forward to seeing him again beyond this place. May God bless each of you. James "Jim" Gamble, KM4TTT, YL System.”
