He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey McClendon and Frances McClendon Jr. (Guist); his former wife Susie McClendon; and his sisters, Shirley Ann Rigsby and Patricia Lavon McClendon.
He is survived by: his wife Valorie McClendon (Vester); his sons, Jeremy McClendon of Springdale, Adam McClendon of Fayetteville, Joe Williams of Fayetteville and Nick Vargas of Fayetteville; his stepdaughter Debbie Burley of Springdale; and his siblings, Bobby McClendon of Siloam Springs, Billy McClendon (Sharon McDaniel) of Gentry, Jimmy McClendon (Shelly) of Little Flock and Becky Martin (Tommy) of Gentry. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
