We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2022, at the age of 81, Hersel Eugene Abernathy (Gentry, Arkansas), born in Whitewater, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Abernathy and Gladys Abernathy (Campbell); and his siblings, Willard Abernathy, Raymond Abernathy, Lentice Abernathy and Loudean Case.

He is survived by: his wife Maxine Abernathy (West); his daughters, Heather (Royce) of White Salmon, Washington and Rachel (Daniel Braff) of Jersey Village, Texas; and his sister Olline Brown of Jackson, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
