It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Newton of Gentry, Arkansas, born in Marionville, Missouri, who passed away on October 15, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Burl Newton and Nellie E. Newton (Forrester); his siblings, Elda Wilfley, Doris Wilson and Jack L. Newton; his daughter Lynette Ball; his stepson Joe Ott; and his stepgrandchild LaTonya Grover.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Ott; his children, Harold M. Newton (Twyla) of Springdale, AR and Jill Duncan (Scott) of Elkins; his grandchildren, Vicki Blair, Kim McCreary, Matthew Whited, Elizabeth Carlson and Sara Tipton; his great grandchildren, Zachara Lutz, Emily, Anthony McCreary, Maelee, Mollie, Millie Whited, Jace, Kaylee and Landon Carlson; his stepdaughters, Debbie Melton (Almus) of Bella Vista, Cheryl Holm (Gerald) of Gentry and Crystal Reiter of Jay, OK; his stepgrandchildren, Shannon Holm, Jennifer Roberts, Brian Adams, Heather King and Dalton Ott; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Andrea Holtzkamper, Carson, Cooper Roberts, Lyric, Skyler King, Hunter and Hudson Adams.
