He was predeceased by: his parents, Cline Whitehead and Sarah Whitehead (Denson); his former wife Willene Whitehead; and his siblings, JT Whitehead, Donna Brewer and Laura Travis.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Whitehead; and his children, Kevin Whitehead of Burleson, Keith Thompson (Karren) of Gentry, Arkansas, Karla Sipes (Randy) of Eucha, Deena Cecil (Greg) of Colcord and Kristina Curran (Rob) of Gentry, Arkansas. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.
