The passing of Bonnie Rae Thompson Newton of Gentry, Arkansas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 11, 2025 at the age of 90. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Clinton Thompson and Mary Frances Stout Thompson; and her siblings, Evelyn Jones, Bernice Woodruff, Marvin and Bill Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband Edgar Ray Newton; her nieces and nephews, Barbara Cheryl Jones, Becky Jones Hendrix (Jim), Charles Jr. Jones (Judy) and Marty Thompson (Andi); and her cousins, Earl Ray Bishop (Diane) and Joshua Bishop (Stephanie). She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Life Church (1611 Cheri Whitlock St, Siloam Springs, AR 72761). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Oak Hill Cemetery (2122 W University St, Siloam Springs, AR 72761).
