He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Philpott and Alva Philpott (Morris). He is survived by: his wife Loretta; his children, Bobbie "Steve" Philpott (Carolyn) of Gentry and Debbie Guss (Ronnie) of Bentonville, Arkansas; his grandsons, Bobbie Glen Guss (Brandy), Bradley Scott Philpott and Jason Philpott (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Emma Grace and Jonna Mae; and his sister Mary Sue Roberts (Roy) of Perry, Kansas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
