He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Cornett and Amanda Cornett; his son DeWayne Cornett; and his siblings, Howell, James Cornett, George Cornett, Gladys Sprayberry, Maggie Smith and Corean Sprayberry.
He is survived by: his daughter Annette; his son-in-law Steve Eddy of Genoa; his son Roy Allen Cornett of Valdosta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Angela Eddy of Conway, Arkansas, Steven, Whitney Eddy of Genoa, Arkansas and Clayton; his granddaughters-in-law, Amber Cornett of Texarkana and Chase Cornett of Maud, Texas; his great grandchildren, Gauge, Cheyenne, Shelby Eddy and Braxton Cornett; and his siblings, Allen, Janie Cunningham of Texarkana and Mary Crabtree of Fouke, Arkansas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
