He was predeceased by: his parents, James Simmons and Norma Hooper Waller; his wife Dodie McIntosh Simmons; and also His. He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Simmons of Texarkana, Stephanie Simmons of Texarkana and Misty Self of Texarkana; his brothers-in-law, Tina Nipper, Thomas Nipper of Atlanta and Cheryl Simmons of Okeechobee; his nephews, Robert Simmons (Brandon) of Jefferson and Curtis Waller of Texarkana; and his grandchildren, Savanaha Works, Jacobie Moten and Zachary Self.
