He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Sue Whitehead; and his son Nathan Whitehead. He is survived by: his daughters-in-law, Mark Whitehead, Diane Whitehead of Redwater, Luke Whitehead of Genoa, Veronica Whitehead of Genoa, Jesse Whitehead of Genoa, Amanda Whitehead of Genoa, Walter Whitehead of Genoa, Myla Whitehead of Genoa and Tonya Whitehead of Genoa; his daughter Rachael Scott of Texarkana; his son-in-law Scotty Scott of Texarkana; and his brothers, James Whitehead of Spokane, Sherrell Whitehead and Floyd Whitehead of Genoa. He is also survived by grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
