It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derrell Gene Scott of Genoa, Arkansas, born in Fouke, Arkansas, who passed away on April 26, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Scott and Evelyn Scott; and his sister Wanzelle Jones. He is survived by: his wife Jane Leavelle Scott of Genoa; his daughters, Leah Scott Hughes of Genoa and Amy (Johnathon Welch); his siblings, Boyce Scott (Ronnie), Don Scott (Debbie) of Fouke, Jo Ann Sutton of Fouke and Janice Odinot of Dallas; and his grandchildren, Lane Hughes (Kelsey), Hayden Hughes and Wesley Gene Welch. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives.
