He was predeceased by: his parents, Edd Barnes and Bertha Sams Barnes; his siblings, Charles Edward Barnes and Dorothy Smith; and his wife Joyce Ann Robertson Barnes.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa; his son-in-law Dale Reed of Genoa; his sons, Eddy (Kim Barnes) and Tony (Ashley Barnes); his grandchildren, Amanda Reed, Austin Reed (Sarai), Kaiden Barnes, Case Barnes, Keegan Haas (Kevi), Jessica Haas Dodd (Tyson) and Shelby Kennedy; his great grandchild Paisley Reed; and his close friend Wanda Adcock.
