He was predeceased by: his father Harry Dobies. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Dobies; his daughter Amber Dobies; his mother Margaret Dobies; and his sisters, Barbara Horton (Melvin), Patti Horton (Paul) and Margaret Heston (Ray). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
