It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathaleen Lawrence Hurt (Gassville, Arkansas), who passed away on January 2, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence and Della; her husband James; her son Michael; and her siblings, Mary Van Jones, Modena Jernigan and Jay Hobbs.
She is survived by: her sons, Dan Hurt and Tim Hurt (Donna); her grandchildren, Robert Hurt and Roxanne Buege; her great grandchildren, Addesyn and Austin Buege; her siblings-in-law, Betty Hill of Oregon, Joyce Johnson of Paragould and Bob Hurt (Jeanetta) of Tennessee; and her sisters, Margaret and Judy of Gassville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Baxter County Food House or Food Bank of North Central Arkansas.
