She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hockman and Tressa Hockman (Cohea); her former husband Allen Jones; her siblings, Robert Hockman, Helen Owens and Nina Everett; and her son Larry Jones.
She is survived by: her husband John Carter of Gassville, AR; her children, Steve Jones of Flagstaff, AZ, Patty Ernst of Helena, AL, Jim Jones of Decatur, IL, Dennis Jones (Stephanie) of South Abilene, TX, Kevin Jones (Genny) of Latham, IL, Tina Elliott (John) of Harristown, IL and Jeff Jones of Blue Mound, IL; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Hockman of Quincy, IL. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
