He was predeceased by: his parents, G. L. Farris and Elaine Farris (Burris); his brother Gary Farris; his daughter Shanna Rencher; and his half-brother Douglas Horton.
He is survived by: his son Jacky Farris of Harrison, Arkansas; his brother Steve Farris of Flippin, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Levi Farris, Elyssa Farris, Rebecca Farris and Donnie Farris; his great grandchild Jaxton Farris; and his nieces and nephews, Josh Farris, Jason Farris, Lesli Vargas and Brandi Pinn.
