He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Isaac Dodd and Dollie Leona Holcomb Dodd; his wife Verna Louise Bertschy; his son Dennis Dodd of Eagle Rock, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Thomas J. Dodd of Alberton and Elizabeth Pinteric (John) of Bentonville. He was also cherished by five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
