She was predeceased by: her husband Floyd Charles Cooper; her in-laws, Orbin Charles Cooper and Alma Marie Cooper; her daughters, Connie Darlene "Con-Doodle" Elders and Twilla "Twilly" Dawn Cooper McBryde; her son-in-law Dennis Joe Trotter; her parents, Ernest Fred Merrell and Maudie Dunham Merrell; and her siblings, James Merrell, Bill Merrell, George Merrell, Avis Rigsbee and Bonnie Waterman.

She is survived by: her sister Fern Lutz of Rogers, AR; her daughters, Linda (Trotter), Melinda "LeeLee" Chadwell (Rodney) of Garfield, AR and Brenda "Brennie" Nakedhead (Leroy) of Bunch, OK; and her son-in-law Elders of Exeter, MO.. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
