It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Darrell Boen of Garfield, Arkansas, who passed away on August 4, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Albert Boen and Modena Meriam Wilks Boen; his wife Patricia Boen; and his brothers, Edward and Earl.
He is survived by: his children, Dee Boen of Goodman and Richard Boen, Jr. of Garfield, Arkansas; his sister Janett Bell (Kenneth) of Pea Ridge; his stepsister Barbara Ross of Granby, Missouri; his grandchildren, Nicole McNelly (Brad), Brittney Thomas, Hunter Thomas, Richard Darrell Boen III, Malina Boen, Natasha Boen, Savannah Boen and Nicole Collins; and his great grandchildren, Lily McNelly, Wyatt McNelly, Jazlina Madden and Alicia Callangs. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
