He is survived by: his spouse Janice Tate (Wynn); his children, Shannon Schnaubert, Milton "Doc" Tate and Jamie Tate (Christy O'Neal); his brother Johnnie Tate; and his niece Joyce Woosley. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
