He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Robert Tate and Neva Roberts Tate; his wife Dorthie May King; and his stepdaughter Edna Rachel Peckham. He is survived by: his sons, Steven Tate (Dulcie "Lulu") of Garfield, James and Edward Weiser; and his stepchildren, Carolyn Leach (Dillon) of Pineville, Virgle Wishon (Debbie) and Donald Wishon (Kadie) of Pea Ridge. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
