It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Schaffner of Garfield, Arkansas, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on January 19, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Edward Schaffner and Nina Leigh Hogg Schaffner; and his brother Frank Schaffner. He is survived by: his wife Ann Schaffner; his children, Shawn Schaffner (Mishelle) of Wesley Chapel, Craig Schaffner (Eva) of Chino Valley, Monica Moore (Craig) of Pacific, Graham Dobbs (Rhonda) of St. Louis, Patrick Coonce (Ruth) of Garfield, Robin Johnson of Smithville, Virginia and Ryan Johnson (Angie) of Arvada, Colorado; his sister Marilyn Teitelbaum (Steven Teitelbaum) of St. Louis, Missouri; and his brothers-in-law, Mike Moon (Mary) and David Moon (Karyn). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
