He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Brittany Heitmann; and his uncle Carlton E. Brown. He is survived by: his wife Laura Lynn Bassette Brown; his children, Charlie Brown of Eudora, Jason Heitmann of Sullivan, Chris Heitmann of Columbia and Stephanie Turpin of Birmingham; and his siblings, Butch Brown of Greenville, Carol Taylor of Tonganoxie, Connie Brown and Cathy Brown of Garfield. He is also survived by grandchildren and five great-grandchild.
