He was predeceased by: his parents, Dunard Sims and Lena Smith Sims; and his son David Sims. He is survived by: his wife Carma Sims; his son Ronald Sims of Nevada; his adoptive son Nick Donahoe (Bethany); his stepdaughter Beth Bartlett (Greg) of Eureka Springs; his sister Gail Villines of Fallon; his nephews, Tim and Gary Fawkes; and also, Caleb and Nicole of Prairie Grove.
