He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Davis and Constance Davis (Guthrie); and his brother-in-law Wess Tribble. He is survived by: his wife Shelia Davis of Gamaliel; his children, Stephen Davis (Deborah Rivera) of Corpus Christi, Craig Davis of San Antonio, Texas and Leah Davis Bates (Harry) of San Antonio, Texas; and his sister Sandra Tribble of Houston.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
