He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert John and Merritt Fischer (Hunt). He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Vicki Oldham (Dub), John Gary Fischer and Carl Scott Fischer; his grandchildren, Kaeli Elizabeth Fischer Taylor, John Gavin Fischer (Karin), Kiersten Leigh Fischer, Kai Fischer, Stephanie Renee Oldham and Wesley Ryan Oldham; his great grandchildren, Desmond and Kaia Fischer; his sister Sherie Krause (Larry); his nephew Lawrence Evan Krause (Trang); and his nieces, Kim Sepeda and Kelly Simmons (Brad).
