It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Bentley of Gamaliel, Arkansas, who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Bentley and Catherine Bentley (Cowart); his wife Dorothy Cherry; and his siblings, Edward Parks, Polly Hall, Lawrence Bentley, Junior Bentley, Wendall Bentley and Bruce Bentley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deanna Chamberlin (Richard), Helen Rodgers (Bobby) and Rita Dearmore (Bill); his grandchildren, Timothy Chamberlain, Tabitha Johnston (Jared), Tiffany Chamberlain, Tyler Rodgers, Katie Didway (Justice) and Dustin Dearmore (Jayden Anderson); his great grandchildren, Deanna, Blake, Patrick, Marshall, Jaimus, Laikyn, Mason and Harper; his siblings, Thomas Bentley (April), Nancy McCormick, Dixie Edwards (Paul), Genevieve Dahn and Lola Comstock (Gordon); and his sisters-in-law, Doris Bentley, Barbara Bentley and Anna Lee Cherry. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
