She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Hawthorne and Etta Clayton Hawthorne; and her siblings, LeRoy, Clayton, Garland, Robert Hawthorne, Lou Perry, Jo Hicks and Louise Ray.
She is survived by: her husband John C. Griffin; her sons, Wayne C. Griffin of McCaskill and Larry R. Griffin (Leslie) of Ozan; her siblings, Ed Hawthorne of DeQueen, Doyle Hawthorne of Patmos, Tommy Hawthorne of Columbus and Henri Hendricks of Columbus; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Parker, John David Griffin, Andrew Griffin and Carroll Wayne Griffin.
The family respectfully request that memorials be given to the Columbus Cemetery Association in honor of Mrs. Griffin.
