He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Welch, Sr. and Jewel McDaniel Welch; and his siblings, Marvin Welch, Jr., Laford Welch, Elmer Eugene Welch, Billy Welch, Robert Lynn Welch, Nina Marie Peyveto and Betty Sue Burns.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Welch (Furr); his son Shane Welch (Dana); his stepdaughters, Charidy Evans (Richard) and Mandy Hardage; his granddaughters, Brianna Welch, Grace Welch, Alisha Evans and Becca Boston; his great grandchildren, Sammy Greenwalt, Evelyn Greenwalt and Freya Duncan; and his brothers, Perry Welch (Ginny) and Jimmy Lee Welch (Dorothy). He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
