She was predeceased by: her parents, Hienrich Mayer and Paula Becker Mayer; and her grandchildren, Amy Hancock, JJ Smith and Lydia Newman.

She is survived by: her children, James Smith (Cindy) of Delight and Connie Loy (Mike) of Caddo Valley; and her sister Margaret Mertz of Germany. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Baptist Medical Center Ladies Auxillary.
