She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Nix and Orene Walker Nix; and her brothers, J. C. Nix, Tony Nix, Eddie Nix and Lewis Nix.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Jacobs; her children, Cleve Branum of Chattanooga, TN, Lana Branum Blankenship (Phil) of Estill Springs, TN and Jennifer Boyett (Danny) of Friendship; her siblings, Harold Nix (Sonya) of Batesville, AR and Lovie Hathcock; and her grandchildren, Ivy Branum, Colton Cook, Paige Cook, Grace Gilbert, Taylor Boyett, Tobin Boyett and Hudson Boyett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Damascus Missionary Baptist Church.
