The passing of Gordon W. McCain Sr. of Franklin, Arkansas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 13, 2025 at the age of 85. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Hansel McCain Sr. and Eleanor Grace Hollingsworth McCain; and his brother Larry Glenn McCain. He is survived by: his sons, Gordon William "Mack" McCain Jr. (Lenora Christine), Christopher Harmon McCain (Jeanette) and Jonathan Andrew McCain (Mary Christine); his siblings, David Hansel McCain Jr. (Teresa) and Evelyn Kay McCain Love (late Alan Love) of Farmington, Arkansas; his sister-in-law Malynda Hawkins McCain; and his grandchildren, Emmarie C. Foerester, Gordon W. McCain III, Christopher Crayton McCain, Presley Jean McCain Embry and Colin Andrew McCain. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Shaffer Funeral Home (2315 W Commercial St, Ozark, AR 72949). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the Hight Cemetery.
