We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2025, at the age of 92, Robbie Faye Bennett Walter of Fountain Hill, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mothers, Velma Floyd and Lily Wysetta Norrell Bennett; her husband James J. Walter; her son Keith Edward Walter; and her siblings, Aubrey Bennett, Leward Bennett, Norma Lawrence, Myrtle Nutter Atkins and Velma Farmer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen L. Thomas and Dr. Kay Walter; her grandchildren, Rebecca Jane Thomas and Matthew Paul Thomas; and her sister Macel L. Oden. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home (302 E Lincoln St, Hamburg, AR 71646). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel (302 E Lincoln St, Hamburg, AR 71646). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at the Cleveland Cemetery (720 E Parker St, Hamburg, AR 71646).
