He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Welch and Dorothy Aaron Welch; and his brother Levi Welch, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Gail Wood Welch of Fountain Hill; his children, Jason Welch (Roxane) and Kim Welch of Hamburg; his sister Janet McKiever of Monticello; his grandchildren, Brock Rice of Crestview, Chelsea Welch of Hamburg, Jenae Johnson (Aaron) of Buna, Micah Welch of Hamburg and Tanner Rice (Marissa) of Jacksonville; his great grandchildren, Piper, Ryder, Gabriel and Rosalie; and his niece Karen Leggett of Monticello.
