It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Scott of Fountain Hill, Arkansas, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pious Scott and Eula Scott; his daughter Maria Dionne Scott; and his siblings, Andrew Clark, Freeman Scott, Douglas Scott and Ida Patterson.
He is survived by: his children, Terry, Jacques, Pious, James Scott, Melvin Hagens and Aneisha Toler of Seattle, WA; his siblings, Paul Scott (Eunice) of Virginia, Raymond Scott (Carolyn) of Illinois, Joe Scott (Gretta) of Missouri, Richard Scott of Mississippi, Steward Scott of Georgia, David Scott (Hattie) of Mississippi, Daniel Scott of California, Rosetta Cook of Missouri and Earlean Hughes (Levander) of Virginia; his sister-in-law Rosalin Scott of Missouri; and his stepchildren, Constance, Norman and Jonathan. He is also survived by seven sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law.
