We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Dorothy Spencer of Fountain Hill, Arkansas, born in Monroe, Louisiana. She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Henry Spencer, Sr.; her children, Lee Andrew Kelley, Willie Charles Spencer, Ruby Lee Spencer and Lois Hudson; her parents, George Hill and Dellie Hill; and her siblings, William Grayson, Ellie Moy, Jr., Julius Hill, Ruby Lewis, Elmira William and Willie Mae Byrd.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Henry Spencer, Jr. (Mae) of Bastrop, LA and Ollie Spencer of Bastrop, LA; and her grandsons, Ulish Haynes, Jr., Roosevelt Jones, Sr., Robert Douglas, Andrew Spencer, Corey Spencer, Travis Dovall, Travorea Young, Maurice Spencer and Rodney Harrell. She is also survived by forty-two grandchildren; one hundred great grandchildren; and a host of great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A walk-through visitation will be held Thursday, August 20, 2020, 4:00-5:00 p. m., at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc. Cromwell Funeral Home will follow CDC precautions during this Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Social Distancing and face masks are still highly recommended.
