He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Townsend and Betty Sullivan; his stepfather Bob Sullivan; and his brother Donnie Townsend. He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann Townsend; his sons, Cutter Yount (Hanna), Thomas Townsend (Hollyn) and John Townsend (Summer); his sister Karen Sorsby (Gary); his grandchildren, Carsyn Yount, Jay'Lee Yount, Remi Yount and Malik Yount; and his nieces and nephews, Sol, Annie Bridges, Steven, Samantha Sorsby, Aaliyah Sorsby, Ellis Sorsby, Norma Sorsby and Jeff Coleman (Raven). He is also survived by friends and other relatives.
