Airy; his son Derek Matthews of Fouke; his parents, Willie Matthews and Vergie Matthews of Texarkana; his sisters, Misty Matthews and Cortney Matthews of Evansville; his grandmother Gladys Matthews of Haughton; his parents-in-law, Jim and Eva Long of Fouke; his siblings-in-law, Jeff, Tresa Long of Fouke and Jessica Long of Corinth; his nephews, Madison Long, Austin Long and Dustin Long; and his great-niece Brooklynn Long. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
