He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Christine Nelson Kobus. He is survived by: his son Jason Tabor of Idaho; his brothers, Dennis Kobus of Hooks, Texas and Dean Kobus of San Antonio; and his cousin Ron Sourwine of Burlington, Iowa. He is also survived by friends and other relatives.
