He was predeceased by: his wife Jimmie Jo Coker; his granddaughter Stephanie Crabtree; his son Nickey Wayne Coker; and his parents, Asa Coker and Amy Coker.

He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn Renee Burns of Texarkana and Sheila (Michael Landis); his sister Onzell Dodson of Fouke, Arkansas; his sister-in-law Geneva Coker of Fouke, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Travis (Chelcie Burns), Adrian Landis, Andy (Kadi Burns), Julie (Daniel Jr. Carnley) and Connor Landis. He is also survived by other friends and relatives.
