He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Cornett; and his sons, Leslie Cornett and Steve Cornett. He is survived by: his son Rick; his daughter-in-law Vicki Cornett of Newhope, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Mike Cornett, Ricky Cornett (Joy), Stephen Cornett, James Cornett, Brandi Burrow (Brandon) and Kasi Hill.
