He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Underwood and Evalee Underwood (Sharder); his wife Lydia Underwood; his stepdaughter Lita Kelley; and his siblings, Charlie Himes, Murl Underwood, Stanley Himes, William Himes and Helen Johnson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Larry Underwood of Bates, Terry Himes of Waldron, Steven Himes of Midland City, AL, Marie Lord of Waldron and Naomi Claunts of Waldron. He is also survived by six step grandchildren, 11 step great-grandchildren, and by a host of nieces, nephews, friends.
