He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his daughter Pamela Ann Anders Burkepile (Michael Burkepile) of Fort Smith; his grandsons, Michael W. Burkepile (Susan) of Fort Smith and Mathew D. Burkepile (Jacqueline Burkepile) of Muenster, Texas; his great grandchildren, Abby, Elijah, Isaiah, Olesia, Mathew and Levi Burkepile; and his siblings, Donald D. Anders of South Dakota and Sue Anders Neznik of Phoenix, Arizona..

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ocker Putman Funeral Home (4500 Jenny Lind Rd, Fort Smith, AR 72901). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (1920 S Greenwood Ave, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
