We bid farewell to Wanda Grace Anderson of Fort Smith, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 16, 2024 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Young and Gracie Young; her grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson and Cherri Chastain; and her siblings, George Young Jr., Ameuel Young, Bud Young, Dorothy Cobb Young, Robert Young, Marvie Matlock and Alma Eubanks (Dean).
She is survived by: her husband John Wayne Anderson; her children, Melanie Faye Anderson of Fort Smith, Cathy Mankin (Arthur) of Van Buren, Joni Lynn Griffith (Kevin) of Poteau and John W. Anderson Jr. of Golden, MO; her brother Edward Young of Leachville, AR; her grandchildren, Tanya Bivins (Michael), Wendy Acker (Steven), David Stillman, Daryl Chastain, Amy Ridenour, Mariah Haley-Anderson and Devin Griffith; and her great grandchildren, Ava Johnson, Hank, Lily Chastain, Dillon Stillman, Reign Anderson-Painter, Caleb, Chris Bivins, Jordan, Natasha, Raven Acker, Emma and Chase Ridenour.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ocker Putman Funeral Home (4500 Jenny Lind Rd, Fort Smith, AR 72901). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM.
