He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Felix Zack and Nadine Benefield (Hudson); his wife Connie; his children, Vickie Darby (Bill) of Little Rock, AR and Terry Benefield (Dee Ann) of Texarkana, TX; his stepsons, Donald Peterson (Yvonne) of Fortuna, CA and Tim Peterson (Barbara) of Fort Smith; his brother Rayford Benefield of Mesquite, TX; and his grandchildren, Christopher Darby (Sharry), Sam Benefield (Emily), Harrison Benefield, Jessica Griffin (Andrew), Alex White (Cody), Lauren Attaway (Lance), William, Michael, Ethan Peterson, Stephen Peterson (Melissa) and Colin Peterson (Paige). He was also cherished by 16 great grandchildren.
