He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Roam and Elizabeth Roam; his brothers, Bubba Roam and Lawrence Roam; his children, Janie Winters and David Roam, Jr.; and his grandson Aaron Rebsamen.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Roam; and his stepchildren, Jerry McClain and Barbie (Bill Rebsamen). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
